Miami Beach Residents can welcome the Beckhams to N Bay Rd, TheRealDeal reports.
According to this TheRealDeal article (you need a subscription in order to read), David and Victoria Beckham are pending on the $80 million spec mansion located at 4736 N Bay Rd. The Eklund-Gomes report tracks listings above $4 million in Miami-Dade County, and this is one of the 11 contracts marked in the MLS from Sept 23-29. The home features nine bedrooms, nine bathrooms, four half-bathrooms, a gym, spa, and home theater. The total asking price for the 10 single-family homes and one condo listed in the report exceeds $142.6 million.
“The single-family homes that entered into contract last week had an average asking price of about $13.7 million and spent 165 days on the market. They totaled $137.3 million in asking dollar volume. Last week in New York, buyers signed contracts for 18 homes, according to the latest Olshan report. Their combined asking price was almost $139 million, and the typical home spent 628 days on the market.” Report by Katherine Kallergis, Sep 30th at 12:42 pm.
Everyone would like to spectate what the next couple of years will look like for Miami and New York, but things seem to change daily. A server at my favorite Miami restaurant noted that he has seen multiple big customers of his move back to New York and sell their condos here. Celebrities and less well-known billionaires continue to keep places in Florida for its multitude of financial benefits and lack of restrictions. It is definitely interesting to see that the typical home in New York spent 628 days on the market in New York– I could not speak to whether or not that is how the market is usually up there, or if this is out of the ordinary. But it is interesting to think 165 days for Miami homes could be the lesser number. I highly implore you to read Katherine’s article here.
